I'd like to ask you for your opinion about the drawing, so I could learn from it. Both positive and negative feedbacks are very welcome!
Originally was supposed to be a nameless character concept, but it turned into a rework of my halfdragon Nia Her full name is Niariona, a half-human half-twilight dragon created by the cultists of the Twilight's Hammer.
Story:
There was a huge problem with the twilight dragons: they were very unstable, a weakness which had to be corrected. Through twisted magic, the cultists made one of their own, a human woman, to give birth three of their new experiments. Three halfblood were born, two males and a female. Their natural form was nearly human, except for the horns and their eyes were azure with dragonlike pupils. The cultists accelerated their aging process based on the results of Lady Sinestra's experiments with Dargonax.
They lacked the instability (making the experiment itself a success on this term), but they couldn't maintain their full dragonforms for long, it quickly depleted their stamina. To counter this, all three became splendid spellcasters and could hold their ground in melee combat as well. All seemed perfect. Way too perfect.
Nia and Varudrion, her younger brother, both felt that they are being used for purposes they wouldn't want to if they had any choice in the matter. Their elder brother, Traitrion came up with a seemingly simple solution. they just had to leave. They did, but not before they destroyed every information about their creation and the ones responsible for it. They were near the borders of the Twilight Highlands when Traitrion finally showed his true colors. He would devour his siblings and every dragon or creature powerful enough to make himself the ultimate dragon. Varud couldn't believe it at first and was unable to attack at all, not like Nia. She wanted to end the threat his brother became, it was against her beliefs to cause more destruction and countless loss of life. Both shifted, and the dragons clashed. At first the fight was even, and not long after the beginning both combatants had more than one injuries cuased by claws or the twisted nether energy they used to empower them. Nia's concentration lacked for a moment, enabling his brother to hurl a bolt of energy into her face. It damaged the right side of her face, her eye included. As she trembled from the pain, Trait prepared himself to devour all of her energy and essence. He was interrupted as Varud smashed into him headfirst, with twilight lightning surronding him. Varud was sure that even with he and Niariona fighting together couldn't defeat Trait by normal means. He didn't let go of his brother even as he started to suck his powers. Trait consumed him, but as eager as he was, he couldn't withstand the large amount of energy and overloaded. The explosion caught Nia as well, burning her right side. She was hurled into the mountainside in Loch Modan, shifting back to her original form after the 'landing'.
When she came round, she was under High Priest Rohan's care in Ironforge. Apparently a dwarf paladin found her. He at first wanted to finish her off, but the Light faded from his sword the moment he cut her left cheek, a sign that the Light deemed she wasn't a threat. He wrapped her into his cloak and carried her to Rohan. As her way to the city was told, she wholeheartedly disgreed with the paladin, and called herself an abomination which shouldn't exist at all. In Rohan's opinion it didn't matter what she was, but who she was and wanted to be. This also had to be reason why the Light judged her as it did. These words became her guidelight.
Abilities:
- full dragonform - couldn't maintain it for long originally, but after the fight with her brother, the time limit is lower even with her body healed
- twilight enchantment - channels the twisted nether energy into her claws/chains/other weapons to increase their potential (and extra damage)
- arcane weaponry - she can create weapons made of arcane or twilight energy, like staves, polearms or bows
- twilight zone - as her right eye was damaged (that eye was almost useless as everything was a blur, which annoyed her more), she blinded herself permanently in that eye implanting a magic circuit into it. this allows her to percept anything harmful coming towards her in a certain range, the twilight zone
- skilled mage and melee fighter
Tried to draw her with her right eye half-open revealing part of the magic circle, but failed utterly so stayed with her eye closed... damn, have to practice drawing half-open eyes...

- hairstyle is partly from the anime Blade and Soul
- her clothes are based on her original concept
- markings on clothes are from the azure drake
